NSERC CREATE Program in Clean Combustion Engines – Summer School 2015

WHO CAN ATTEND?   Graduate Students in Engineering, who are involved in combustion or engine research.  Students must be currently enrolled in an academic program in Canada. You must be currently registered in CREATE to participate.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATION – MARCH 31st, 2015.

COSTS:  Tuition, breakfast, lunch and special events are covered by the NSERC CCE CREATE Program.  Costs of travel and double-occupancy accommodation may be provided on a limited basis.  Early registration and indication of need is highly recommended for consideration and approval for the Program to underwrite these costs.

Arrival/registration:       Monday,  June 1, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm in the Atrium, CEI Building

Welcome reception and orientation:  Monday, June 1 , 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm in the Atrium, CEI Building

Daily Course Schedule:  Summer school starts, Tuesday, June 2 to Friday, June 5

The typical day will be 8:45 am – 5:30 pm with breakfast, refreshment breaks and lunch. A dinner will be hosted at the Windsor Club, where Gold, Silver, and Bronze awards will be presented for the best poster presentation. A riverboat cruise excursion on the Detroit River and a field trip to Ford Powertrain Engineering Research and Development Centre is also included as part of the summer school.
